See Mobiquity Speak At AWS re:Invent 2017

Planning your agenda for AWS re:Invent 2017?

Two of our own - Ty Rollin, Chief Innovation Officer, and Joel Evans, VP of Digital Transformation - are gearing up to present. View details on their sessions below, and be sure to reserve your seat to catch them in action in Vegas.

Ty's Session

ALX311: DevOps Tools for Alexa Skill Building (Alexa track)
Ty Rollin, Chief Innovation Officer
November 28 from 12:15 to 1:15PM at the Aria, Level 3, Starvine 8
December 1 from 9:15 to 10:15AM at the Aria, Level 3, Starvine 8
An Alexa skill consists of three main pieces: The skill manifest (defines the skill’s metadata such as publishing information), frontend voice interaction model (defines how the skill should understand users’ spoken languages), and backend logic (defines how the skill acts or responds to user requests). Setting up and linking these, while not hard, is hands-on and involves multiple steps. Modern iterative software development is all about automated continuous integration, testing, and deployment. We are often asked by developers, “How do we integrate such a manual process into our continuous integration pipeline?” In this session, we answer just that. We will cover the Alexa Skills Kit Command-line Interface (ASK CLI).

Joel's session

ATC304: RFID (Really Freaking Indispensable and Decisive) Advertising (AdTech track)
November 27 from 1:45 to 2:45PM at the Venetian, Level 2, Veronese 2405
Interested in learning how to take your existing advertising platform and combine it with AWS Greengrass, AWS Lambda, Amazon DynamoDB, and Amazon Pinpoint to send context-aware advertisements to users at the point of buying? In this session, Mobiquity, the leader in digital engagements servicing the world’s top brands, discusses how they’ve been able to use AWS to create compelling digital experiences for their clients. We deep-dive on the technology behind Mobiquity’s innovative shopping system that uses RFID, Bluetooth, captive Wifi, and a mobile app to provide real-time context for understanding how and where your customers interact with your products and services, allowing you to better tailor your ads to their particular preferences.
