Third-Party Data Targeting Leads to More Effective Mobile Ad Campaigns

Mobile ad specialist Jumptap released new findings that show just how effective third-party data targeting can be for mobile ad campaigns. According to Jumptap, campaigns that use targeted audiences perform far higher on multiple performance-tracking metrics, including a more than 10 percent higher clickthrough rate and significantly higher ROI. Companies are reacting to the stronger performance of third-party targeting. Jumptap reports that in 2012, the number of companies using this kind of data has increased 500 percent to more than half of all mobile ad campaigns.
