Michael Donahue spent 20 years in leadership roles at KPMG KPMG LLP, the global accounting and consulting firm. From 2000 to 2005, he was group executive vice president and chief operating officer of KPMG Consulting (BearingPoint). Prior to it being spun off, he was managing partner of solutions for KPMG’s consulting division and served as a member of the boards of directors of KPMG (U.S.), KPMG Consulting (Japan) and chairman of the supervisory board of KPMG Consulting (Germany).
Donahue has taken his vast international management and marketing experience, which has included information technology capabilities, data protection and security, to growth companies, private equity funds, public and privately-held businesses.
In addition to Mobiquity, Donahue is a director of three other companies: Orchard Media, a worldwide distributor of digital music, film and video; Preferred, an energy services and advanced materials outfit; and Quintiq, a global supply chain software company. He's a former director of Air Products (NYSE:APD), a Fortune 500 gas and performance materials provider. Michael also served on the boards of GSI Commerce (NASDAQ: GSIC), a provider of online retail and marketing services (acquired by eBay); Expensewatch, a financial software firm (acquired by Bezos Expeditions); Xtify, mobile customer engagement company (acquired by IBM); and Liquidhub, a technology consulting firm.
Donahue served on the board of advisors of Villanova University's School of Business. He attended the University of Pennsylvania from which he received bachelor's degrees in economics and history and completed the International Management Program at the Wharton School.
