Tim Brown knows sales as his 20-plus-year track record in high-tech sales and sales management will attest. Most recently, he was the IBM business-unit executive responsible for all IBM collaboration, social, portal and mobile solutions in the U.S. East IMT. During his eight years at IBM, Brown held a variety of executive positions within the company's Northeast region, including responsibility for the growth of its general business sector.

Before signing on at Big Blue, Brown held executive positions with several high-tech services start-ups, including serving as CEO of Smartbridge and vice president of sales for Progressive Solutions. In addition to software and high-tech services, Brown has worked extensively in the human-capital and knowledge-management industries.

Brown earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of the Holy Cross in political science and philosophy.
