Gene Signorini has been called a “mobile market guru,” and a fast glance at his background explains why. For the past decade, Signorini has been with the Yankee Group, a research and advisory company dealing with the mobile and wireless market. He most recently served as its senior vice president and head of global research, where he was responsible for the firm's advisory services, data products, research agenda and content-delivery strategy. Signorini also co-founded Yankee’s enterprise mobility research team, where he led thought-provoking and valuable research initiatives.
Earlier, Signorini brought his expertise to MCI WorldCom's wireless resale organization where he worked in operations, project management and business development.
At Mobiquity, as vice president of mobile insights, he will work with clients to show how following mobile-market trends and developing superior mobile strategies will benefit their businesses.
Signorini was a charter member of Mobile Enterprise magazine’s editorial advisory board and is on the board of advisors for IQPC Global Enterprise Mobility Exchange Network, which connects enterprise mobility decision-makers across Europe and the U.S. He graduated from Boston College with a BA in economics and English. He also received an MBA from Boston College’s Carroll Graduate School of Management.
And if you are ever buying him an ice-cream cone, he prefers cookie batter to black raspberry.
